What Is The Song Used In Festival Of Thailand. The Khruang Sai normally is made up of the stringed instruments of Thailand but occasionally will incorperate a violin into it. The Songkran water festival therefore sees the passing of one astrological year and the beginning of another.
Loy Loi literally means to float while Krathong refers to the lotus- shaped receptacle which can float on water. But Songkran which is Thai New Year is being held all over the country for several days and in some parts of Thailand even for more than a week. Water guns hose pipes buckets in fact anything you can get your hands on can be used to splash people. Having been around and celebrated for years and years both traditions deserve a special mention. Elders are also honored by respectfully pouring water over their hands. Is the festival just for locals or can anyone get involved.
